RAVVA DOSA |
INGREDIENTS
Rice flour - 1 cup
Maida - 1/2 cup
Ravva(Suji) - 1 cup
Jeera - 1/2 table spoon
1 green chili finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
ginger finely chopped
curry leaves
coriander leaves
black pepperpowder
5-8 cups water or as required to prepare batter
salt as required
oil for frying the ravva dosa
INSTRUCTIONS:
step 1 : to prepare batter for Ravva dosa mix rice flour, ravva(suji),maida flour,chopped onions, chilli,ginger,coriander and curry leaves with water and keep it for 30- 40 minutes.
step 2 :Heat the dosa pan and spread 2 to 3 spoons oil on it.
step 3 :Now pour the batter from the edges of the pan so that the batter spreads towards centre.
step 4:Wait for a minute till the dosa turns to golden brown then add oil around and turn the dosa other side .
step 5:after both the sides get cooked serve the dosa hot.
Note: Ravva dosa to be served when it is hot.
Ravva dosa batter should be very loose and easy to flow
